Leadership development

“Leadership isn’t a badge; it’s a way of being”

Tracey McEachran, Director of Curious Minds Consulting

Our whole person leadership programme is modular in design providing flexibility to meet our client’s needs. Whether you need one module or a full Leadership programme we can meet your needs.

We use creativity and systems thinking to develop inclusive, authentic and confident leaders.

Leadership has always been an essential skill at the top of an organization. With the move to remote working however there is a shift and cracks can appear at all levels of your organisation if your leaders, managers and staff are unprepared to adapt to, embrace and employ a distributed and inclusive leadership approach.

Working together with our clients we tailor our modules to fit their needs. Modules can be delivered as a light touch or a deep dive depending on the level of expertise required. The length of a session will vary depending on how deep we dive, however working virtually on average a session lasts approx. 90 minutes and each module is delivered over four online sessions.  Working live each module is delivered over one day.

“We commissioned Tracey and her team to deliver two cohorts of leadership training for a public sector client and went into lockdown part way through the first cohort. Tracey rapidly redesigned the entire programme to be delivered online; feedback from the delegates has been overwhelmingly positive. Tracey introduced a number of effective measures to address the new virtual format such as breaking up the modules into manageable chunks, small group work to allow people to get to know one another, regularly checking in on the health and wellbeing of the delegates and using techniques to get delegates into the right mind-set to make the most of every session.

Whilst everyone missed the face to face experience taking time out to focus on their own professional development, given most people are working under considerable stress both at home and at work, is invaluable. I would strongly advise against postponing training at this time given the uncertainty we’re facing.”

Nicola MathersChief Executive, FUTURE OF LONDON

“For me, the course has taken me on a journey of self-discovery and challenged my understanding of what true leadership is.  I have been able to implement and incorporate strategies and my newly learnt knowledge into both my personal and professional life.   It pushed my boundaries, made me face my fears and questioned preconceived ideas.   The modules have been enjoyable, wonderfully engaging, and practical and have exceeded my expectations. Thank you!”

“I was pleasantly surprised as to how much this course changed my perspective of what good leadership is and more importantly what it can be. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of self-reflection and growth in a supportive group within the fun and interactive format.  The course was managed brilliantly online and I shall definitely be taking forward with what we learned with my colleagues and continue the momentum.”
