Building high-performing, resilient teams

By first recognising individual talent, purpose, values and beliefs we can develop a high performing team. Once everyone is truly seen and respected the team has a solid foundation that can be built on. Our team sessions are a blend of the individual and collective voice.

These are the four pillars we build our team development sessions on:

Transformation: Growth mind set, listening, awareness, ability to play and challenge

Environment: Psychological safety, trust, openness, inclusiveness

Accountability: ways of working, commitment, leadership, decision-making and challenge

Meaning: vision, purpose and values, our team identity.

Developing Technical teams

We work with teams to support connection, collaboration, creative exploration, and innovative approaches to the challenges they face. Drawing on systems and design thinking, as well as the psychology of leadership, we explore our extensive toolkit to guide teams through the bumpy terrain of strategic planning, leadership development, culture change, and team cohesiveness.

Resilience Training

Resilience training is increasingly critical, given the high stress experienced across a wide range of professions, the rise in remote home-working with the need to balance competing demands, increasingly demanding clients, and the often frantic pace of a digital world. Resilience training aims to equip colleagues with:

  • Higher levels of awareness of the physical and mental impact of stress.
  • Understanding their own stress levels and triggers to improve self-care and personal stress management.
  • An introduction to a resilience toolkit to facilitate higher levels of personal resilience.

We specialise in delivering this training in the legal sector. For legal colleagues, who often deal with high-stakes cases, emotionally vulnerable clients, and long hours, such training can be literally lifesaving. It helps in reducing the risk of mental health issues, enhancing wellbeing, and improving the ability to recover from setbacks without long-term negative consequences. Additionally, resilience training contributes to a more supportive workplace culture, and can lead to better outcomes for clients by ensuring their representatives are mentally and emotionally prepared to tackle challenges.

We will design a programme to meet your organisation’s needs, using a combination of in-person workshops, virtual workshops, team, and individual coaching either live or virtual.

How we work

We work with you to understand the talent in the team and the dynamics that can derail the team. We do this through a team profiling system from The True Talent Team called the We.Scan. The scan allows us to quickly get under the skin of what is currently playing out in the team, what the strengths are and where there are blockers to high performance.

Where possible we run our team development sessions around live issues or opportunities the team is currently working on. This allows the learning to take place in real time on real issues.

We bring creativity to our team development sessions, which can bring out new insights for the team as they discover more collaborative ways to work and create together.

“I’m a scientist and I was not confident that Talent Scan would say much of interest. What staggered me was how the process could characterise me so accurately. I have benefited hugely by making more conscious choices.”

Tilly Spurr Director, Larder and Gym

“We used the ME.TalentScan with all of the candidates we were interviewing for our CEO role. It helped the candidates better understand their skills and provided the interview panel with more clarity on who would be the best fit for the organisation. We will use the process again widely across the organisation.”
